The Rip-Cut easily makes straight, accurate, repeatable cuts without measuring, marking, or having to keep the saw on the cut line. The Rip-Cut does this with a long edge guide that follows the straight edge of the sheet you are cutting. LEECRAFT Phenolic Inserts and Sheet Stock reduce splintering and chip-out on the bottom side of regular or dado table saw cuts. Simply raise your saw blade through the insert to create a “kerf” which precisely matches the blade on your saw. This 1/2″ thick insert is precision machined from a nearly frictionless melamine faced, high density phenolic laminate. It offers durability and flatness unobtainable from cheaper plastic inserts. Features like top mounted set screws for precise leveling, front/side adjustment screws for perfect side to side and front to rear fit, and a rear safety pin that keeps the rear of the insert in place, make this the best insert we have ever seen. Sheet stock material (1/2″ x 11″ x 15″) is perfect for creating your own custom jigs and fixtures. Craftsman insert measures 14″ x 3-3/4″ and fits most new, 10″ belt drive models. The “zero clearance” concept is simple: The blade cuts its own perfectly sized slot by being raised through a machinable “blank” insert. Leecraft inserts are 1/2-inch-thick, high-density phenolic laminate, with bonded-melamine surface. They offer superior rigidity, flatness, durability, and low friction. User-friendly features include top-accessible leveling screws, lateral adjustment screws for a vibration-free fit, rear anti-lift pin (except JT-1), and a precut-blade bottom pocket that provides clearance for fully retracted blades and bevel cuts. Replace your factory table saw insert with a phenolic zero clearance insert. Zero Clearance inserts help prevent kickback and tear-out on your stock pieces when feeding through a table saw blade. By raising your blade up through the insert, you eliminate gaps between the side of the insert and the blade.
