When you switch to the timer ,the lantern will turn on and continue for 6 hours.The lantern will automatic turn on at the same time as the previous day.If you switch to the on,it will light until the battery(3 AAA batteries included) is exhausted.Pls take out the batteries if you do not use the lantern for a long time.
