The Fast Processor is great. Well worth the money. I run my Business on it which involves MS Office Spreadsheets, Word etc and this performs very smooth and fast enough for me. Extremely easy to set up .(CHOOSE MANUAL SETUP DO NOT LET HP CHOOSE FOR YOU, YOU WILL GET LOADED WITH JUNK APPS) I find the machine to be more than fast enough to Stream Video, work on Spreadsheets (MS Office is not included, that's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5) Using it as a Tablet is very good, the touch screen is very accurate, make sure you calibrate it in settings. I do miss the 3rd USB port as it has 1- 2.0 Port and 1-3.0 a 3rd as most have would have been nice. Windows 8 does take time to get use to. I personally have no problems with Windows 8 as I have been using it for months. Go to Classicshell.net and download to get the old Start Button Back and it will all feel the same to XP users. I don't use the Metro part of Windows much at all, and with The Classic Shell Start Button it feels just like Old Windows. I recommend this Highly and would purchase again. Its only been a day but so far so good, Ill update if there are any problems.

When I pay $500 for a computer, I DEMAND that the keyboard mouse pad works EVERY TIME I use it. It does not. I often have to open and close the computer before it decides to respond to taps of my finger when selecting items on the screen. When it is malfunctioning, I have to have one finger on the keyboard mouse pad while I press the left of right button to select things. If I don't have a finger touching the pad, no selection is made. TERRIBLE engineering.

I regret getting this computer -- I have yet to use it as a tablet, without the keyboard, as I originally intended. Why? This tablet is HEAVY and too large to be functional as a patient file management system that can fit in a lab coat pocket (the original reason I bought it).

Also, the CAMERA is very GRAINY for both photos and videos -- a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT after paying a much as I did for it.

Battery life is 4 hours. And you only get 64GB hard drive space.

Stick with a more conventional laptop if you need an 11.6" screen.

Went to use it about two months ago and the keyboard and mouse wouldn't work but you could still use the touch screen ok.Then a few days ago the battery wouldn't charge in it. Now it has to be plugged into electric to use it. Keyboard still not working. Though I bought it here on Amazon, today I took it to Best Buy to get it repaired. They had their number one geek repair man working on it while I watched. After about 45 minutes he gave up and said the keyboard is defective. Nice thing....he didn't charge me so two thumbs up to Best Buy!!!It is now a $600.00 paper weight.Hard to beat Dell. This is just niiiice, very elegant piece of hardware, it looks very nice, very portable, the hardware is just what I needed. Remember, is not a Gamer PC, but for playing HD movies, normal internet, programs, it's just ideal. It has HDMI so you can plug it to your TV, I'd just wish that it had the hdmi port in the screen too, like the headphones port, it has one on the keyboard and in the screen. Besides this, this is just nice :)

I've done my research, and this by far was the best option for a tablet/laptop when I bought it. I only really hate how little memory is on it. I can't have more than one decent game downloaded at a time. I play CIV V, and that's about all that it can handle. If I really wanted to, I could take it apart and upgrade it, but it's just such a hassle to get the laptop parts. It does overheat a little when you've got it off of the base for a really extended period of time (3 hours), but It's nothing awful. I highly recommend it! I still use it, and I've had it for about 2 years now.
